Family Aglajidae
The family Aglajidae is represented by around 100 species in 15 genera. They are widely distributed in the tropics, typically being found on sandy bottoms. They are not "nudibranchs" and most contain an internal shell. Headshield slugs are active predators of benthic marine invertebrates which they ingest whole.
