Family Megophryidae

There are 197 species in this family distributed over 9 genera (Amphibiabase). They are found from the Himalayan foothills and into the islands of the Indonesian archipelago. Many species are cryptically colored and some have skin folds that breaks up their outline and makes them more difficult to see.
