Family Santiidae

There are currently 28 species of santiid isopods in five genera. The most speciose is the genus Santia. To the best of my knowledge they are all tiny. The ones I have photographed have typically been on sponges or cnidarians but this may simply reflect a greater visibility on these organisms rather than their major habitat.
